Presence: the entry retainer that proves the channel

Three profiles, a lighter publishing cadence, and monthly pipeline reporting — built for early-stage founders testing whether social media can book sales calls.

What Presence actually buys you

Presence is the smallest version of the Social Signal machine. One founder interview per week becomes every piece of content we publish for you — posts, captions, and short updates across three social profiles. You approve everything before it goes live. Nothing publishes without your sign-off, and nothing publishes in a voice that isn't yours.

The metric is booked sales calls. Not likes, not follower counts, not "engagement." Presence exists for early-stage founders who want proof that social media can fill a pipeline before committing to a bigger machine.

What's included, in concrete terms

What Presence does not include

Honesty first: Presence does not include inbox and DM management, proactive daily engagement on other people's posts, or the 2-hour DM / 4-hour comment response SLAs — those start at Authority Engine. Presence also doesn't include X/Twitter coverage by default (it's a $49/mo add-on), short-form video editing, a LinkedIn newsletter, or review-generation workflows. Each of those exists as a capability — see services — but they belong to the bigger machines.

Setup fee, term, and cancellation

The setup fee is $450, one time. It covers onboarding, profile optimization across your three profiles, content pillar development, your approval workflow setup, and your first interview.

The term is three months initial, then month-to-month with 30 days' written notice to cancel. Support is Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm ET. Kickoff happens within 48 hours of onboarding, and your first post is live within 7 days.

We keep the term short on purpose. A three-month window is enough for the interview-to-content system to compound — in our experience working with founder-led practices, the first qualified conversations typically start in weeks 3–6 — and short enough that you're never trapped.

The pilot: how most clients start

Most Presence clients start with the 30-day paid pilot: $1,500, credited toward the retainer if you continue. The pilot runs the full interview-to-content process for one month so you can evaluate the actual output, the approval workflow, and the first pipeline signals before committing to a term.

There is no call guarantee. Social Signal removed its earlier call guarantee because it was unproven; instead you get the call-tracking dashboard — every call the system produces, reported in numbers, so you can judge it yourself. The conditions are always stated plainly: your weekly 30-minute interview is required, and pilots are capped at 5 concurrent. There is no call guarantee. Frequently asked questions

What is the total cost of Presence in the first three months?

$450 setup plus $800 per month. The first 90 days are the initial term: $2,850 all-in before any add-ons. After that, the retainer continues month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel. Most clients start with the 30-day pilot at $1,500, which is credited toward the retainer if you continue.

Why is Presence cheaper than Authority Engine?

Cadence and management scope. Presence publishes fewer times per week, covers three profiles, reports monthly, and doesn't include inbox management or daily engagement. Authority Engine — our hero tier — runs the full machine: weekly interview, daily publishing, DM and comment management, and pipeline reporting. Presence proves the channel; Authority Engine scales it.

Can I add X/Twitter to Presence?

Yes. X/Twitter is a $49-per-month add-on on Presence and Authority Engine, and it is included at no extra charge in Category King. We disclose it plainly because it's your budget: one platform more costs one small add-on, not a tier upgrade.

Is there a call guarantee?

No. There is no call guarantee — Social Signal removed its earlier guarantee because it was unproven. What you get instead is the call-tracking dashboard: every call the system produces, reported in numbers, so you can judge it yourself.

Who should NOT buy Presence?

Anyone who needs speed or scale right now. If you have an established practice and want to dominate a niche, Presence will feel slow — Authority Engine is the right tier. If you can't commit 30 minutes a week to the interview, no tier will work; the machine runs on your thinking.

What happens if I want to cancel?

The initial term is three months. After that, it's month-to-month with 30 days' written notice. No exit fees, no retention calls, no dark patterns. If the channel isn't earning booked calls, you should leave — and the monthly pipeline report will make that call easy to evaluate.

The 30-day Pilot is $1,500 — credited in full if you continue. There is no call guarantee — the call-tracking dashboard reports every call the system produces, in numbers (weekly 30-minute interview required; 5 pilots max at a time).
