Our standards: the FTC honesty pledge

Six rules we will not break — because trust is the product.

Why we publish this page

Social Signal is a social media agency and client-acquisition system for founder-led B2B coaches, consultants, and advisors. Our clients stake their professional reputations on what we publish under their names. That only works if our standards are written down, specific, and non-negotiable. Here they are.

1. No fake reviews — ever

We never write, buy, plant, or trade reviews — for our clients or for ourselves. Every testimonial or review we publish comes from a real client, with their written permission, describing their actual experience in their own words. We never offer payment, discounts, or gifts in exchange for a positive review without clearly disclosing it, consistent with the FTC's endorsement guidelines. If a result can't be described honestly, it doesn't get published. Full stop.

2. No purchased engagement or followers

We never buy followers, likes, comments, views, or shares — on your accounts or ours. Purchased engagement poisons the data we use to make decisions, trains the algorithms on the wrong audience, and puts your accounts at risk of penalties. It also lies to you about what's working. Every follower, comment, and conversation we report is real, which is exactly why our reporting means something.

3. A human reviews everything before you do

AI assists our drafts — it does not publish. Every piece of content passes a human editor who checks it for factual accuracy, voice match, and honest claims before it ever reaches you. Then you review and approve it in writing. That's two human gates between a draft and your audience. Automated publishing without human review is how brands end up apologizing on the internet; we don't do that here.

4. AI assistance, disclosed

We tell you precisely where AI helps and where humans decide. AI helps with interview transcription, first drafts, and repurposing one interview into many pieces. Humans decide strategy, angles, final edits, fact-checks, and every publish decision. If a platform's rules or an applicable regulation requires disclosure of AI assistance on a specific piece of content, we disclose it. You will never have to guess which parts of your content system are automated.

5. Real metrics only

Our monthly pipeline report leads with the numbers that pay your bills: conversations started, qualified calls booked, show rate, and pipeline value. Follower counts, likes, and reach appear for context — diagnosing which content resonates — but never as proof of performance. We sell pipeline, not posts, and our reporting is built to prove it or expose it. If a month underperforms, the report says so, with our read on why and what changes next.

6. Client approval is the final gate

Nothing publishes without your written approval. Not a post, not a story, not a comment reply, not a DM sent in your name. This is written into our terms of service, and it overrides everything else on this page in your favor. Approval usually takes clients under 15 minutes a week because the drafts arrive in your voice, on strategy, and ready to review.

What this means for your brand

Concretely: your accounts stay compliant with platform rules and FTC guidelines. Your audience learns that your content sounds like you and says true things, which compounds into the trust that shortens sales cycles. And you get reporting you can take to your accountant — calls and pipeline, not screenshots of like counts.

If we ever fall short

Standards are only real if there's a remedy. If we publish something that violates these standards, tell us: we pull it, fix it, document what went wrong, and tell you what changed so it doesn't repeat. Accountability is part of the pledge. If you want to see how these standards show up in the day-to-day work, read about our process or bring your questions to the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

Do you use AI to write content?

Yes — and we tell you exactly where. AI assists with transcription, first drafts, and repurposing. Humans do strategy, final edits, fact-checking, and the decision to publish. Every piece is reviewed by a human editor and then by you before it goes live. AI is a draft assistant, never the publisher.

Will you ever publish something without my approval?

Never. Nothing goes live without your written approval — not a post, not a comment reply, not a DM on your behalf. This is written into our terms. If our drafts sit unapproved, your calendar pauses rather than publishing something you haven't seen.

How do you handle testimonials and reviews?

Every testimonial we publish comes from a real client, with their written permission, describing their actual experience. We never write, buy, or plant reviews, and we never offer incentives for positive reviews without disclosing them — per FTC endorsement guidelines. If we can't say it honestly, we don't say it.

What happens if a platform flags or removes our content?

We tell you immediately, document what happened, and rework the content to comply. Because we never buy engagement or use deceptive tactics, flags are rare — but platforms change rules constantly, and honest operators adapt in the open rather than gaming the system.

The 30-day Pilot is $1,500 — credited in full if you continue. There is no call guarantee — the call-tracking dashboard reports every call the system produces, in numbers (weekly 30-minute interview required; 5 pilots max at a time).
