Frequently asked questions
Pricing, terms, cancellation, timelines — answered straight, including the questions agencies dodge.
The short version
Everything on this page lives in more detail elsewhere: pricing for the full tier comparison, the pilot for the 30-day terms, the process for the weekly mechanics, and about for who we are. Below is the complete FAQ; each answer is the whole answer — no fine print hiding elsewhere.
One more thing
If your question isn't answered here, apply and ask it on the fit call — a human replies within 1 business day, and we'd rather answer an awkward question now than discover a mismatch later.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Social Signal cost?
Three retainers: Presence at $800/month ($450 setup), Authority Engine at $1,500/month ($900 setup), and Category King at $2,500/month ($1,500 setup). X/Twitter is a $49/month add-on on Presence and Authority Engine, included in Category King. That's the entire price list — no per-post fees, no upsell packages.
What is the contract term? Can I cancel?
3-month initial term, then month-to-month, with a 30-day cancellation notice. No exit fees, no retention calls, and everything we created for you stays yours. We keep terms short because we want clients who stay for results, not sunk costs.
Is there a call guarantee?
There is no call guarantee. Social Signal removed its earlier guarantee because it was unproven. What you get instead is the call-tracking dashboard — every call the system produces, reported in numbers, so you can judge it yourself.
Why does the system require my weekly interview?
Because the machine runs on your voice. No interview means no raw material — no stories, no opinions, no frameworks — which means no content and no conversations to work. The interview is your part of the bargain; everything else is ours.
What does the X/Twitter add-on include?
Full management of your X/Twitter presence — content publishing, engagement, and DM work — for $49/month on Presence and Authority Engine. It's included at no extra charge in Category King. If your buyers aren't on X, don't add it; we'll tell you honestly whether it fits.
Do you use AI to create my content?
Yes, and we disclose it plainly. AI assists with drafting; a human editor reviews every piece for accuracy, voice, and sense; and you approve everything before it publishes. The ideas, stories, and expertise are yours — they come from your weekly interview.
Does anything publish without my approval?
Never. Drafts arrive in one batch after each interview, you approve or request changes, and only approved content goes live. No auto-publishing, no 'we thought you'd like it.' This is a standing term of the service, not a favor.
What do I have to do each week?
Two things: a 30-minute interview where you talk and we record, and a short approval pass on the content batch — usually 10 to 15 minutes. No writing, no scheduling, no posting, no answering DMs unless you want to.
How fast does everything start?
Kickoff within 48 hours of onboarding, and your first post goes live within 7 days. The first interview usually happens in the kickoff week, so the machine starts with real material on day one.
How will I know it's working?
A monthly pipeline report, delivered by the 3rd business day, shows conversations started, DMs worked, calls booked, and what's converting. We report pipeline and booked calls — never likes or follower counts. Support runs Mon–Fri 9am–6pm ET if you want interim visibility.
What happens if I miss an interview?
Tell us ahead and we reschedule — the cadence survives one missed week on banked content. Miss repeatedly and the machine starves: there is no content worth publishing without your thinking, which is why the interview matters more than any single post.
Is there a trial or do I commit to a retainer immediately?
Most clients start with the 30-day pilot at $1,500 — the complete machine for a full month, credited in full toward your retainer if you continue within 14 days. We cap pilots at 5 concurrent so each one gets real attention.
Who owns the content you create?
You do — always. If you cancel, everything stays with you: published content, drafts, positioning work, all of it. No hostage assets, no licensing games.
Do you work with businesses outside the US?
We're based in Erie, PA and serve clients nationwide across the US. The system is built for English-language B2B markets; if you're elsewhere, ask and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.
What if I'm not a coach, consultant, or advisor?
Then we're probably not your agency. The interview-to-content machine depends on founder expertise, and we've tuned everything — voice calibration, content pillars, DM playbooks — for this buyer. We'd rather refer you elsewhere than run a system built for someone else.
Stop renting attention. Start booking calls.
The 30-day Pilot is $1,500 — credited in full if you continue. There is no call guarantee — the call-tracking dashboard reports every call the system produces, in numbers (weekly 30-minute interview required; 5 pilots max at a time).
